Overall, a set of very good points, and the message of inclusion is an important one for an event that hasn’t been nearly enough for the past 2 years.
BUT –let’s make sure we throw in a number for outrage while leaving out some key context…
“Police again most frequently used fatal force after encountering people armed with knives or guns, killing 735”
Now, I can agree that the number could and should be waaaaaay lower. But you’re leaving out there an unspoken implication that the police are just running around executing people, when in fact over 3/4 of those interactions are with armed (and presumably dangerous) criminals who are out there with ill intent.
