There might be some worthwhile thoughts in here, but I had to quit before I even finished the part about Tokyo. It’s like you spilled a bucket of stray apostrophes everywhere, and it was driving me crazy. It’s almost like you over-compensated for missing commas with excess apostrophes. :-\
